Sydney - iconic and hidden. Depending where you live, traveling to Australia can take a long time. All I can say is - it’s worth it. Having visited many times since 1981 - you are rewarded with a country with great food, people and places.

It was 1981. After a 20-hour flight, including an unscheduled stop in Fiji, we landed in Adelaide, South Australia. I was 21 and continuing my college experience at Flinders University of South Australia.
